A deliberate relationship between site, architecture and the way a home is lived in.
Our development approach
Thoughtful design. Disciplined decisions.
01
Begin with the place.
Site selection sets the direction. Neighborhood character, scale, access, and the relationship to the landscape inform the homes we envision and the opportunities we choose to explore.
02
Evaluate the whole picture.
A compelling idea needs a considered development plan. Our approach calls for a close look at acquisition, site constraints, design, costs, timing, and potential outcomes before moving forward.
03
Bring the right people together.
Each project calls for the right combination of expertise. We seek alignment among property owners, design and construction professionals, operators, and capital partners, with clear roles and communication.
04
Keep the home at the center.
Architecture and development decisions should serve the way a home is lived in. Natural light, useful spaces, enduring materials, and a connection to the outdoors guide our residential vision.
05
Make complexity clearer.
Juan’s background in building and software informs a long-term vision: more connected project information and clearer coordination among the people involved. Through his work on HyveCity, he is exploring how software can help bring planning, decisions, and construction into a clearer view.
Our focus
Rooted in place. Looking ahead.
A deliberate focus on three areas. A shared appreciation for a home that belongs.
A dialogue between home and neighborhood.
Our interest in Tarrytown begins with a respect for neighborhood character. We see an opportunity for thoughtful residential architecture that balances a fresh perspective with a sense of belonging.
Neighborhood character — Considered scale — Enduring materials
Architecture in conversation with the landscape.
Our vision for Westlake puts the site first: the way a home meets the land, frames its surroundings, and creates room for everyday life. A deliberate relationship between architecture and nature.
Site-responsive design — Natural light — Space to live
A distinctly Austin way of living.
In West Austin, our focus is on homes with a strong sense of place. Warm materials, useful spaces, and a meaningful connection between indoors and out inform the possibilities we look for.

The completed exterior pairs charcoal siding with a white entry frame and a mature tree. The photograph shows the materials, openings, and relationship between the home and its site.
The completed kitchen brings an island, dining space, navy cabinetry, and natural light into the same view. Its project photographs document the room and its finishes.
The published plans describe nine residences, three residential floors over a concrete parking podium, and a private covered patio for every planned home. Areas, layouts, and the project team are identified in the case study.
The examples reflect Juan’s personal project experience. MLK is under construction and its images are labeled as renderings. Materials, assemblies, systems, and performance requirements are project-specific and should be confirmed in the relevant plans, specifications, and agreements.
